atomic vision. video art. (CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES)

In this video you see my eye, with atomic bomb explosions in the background. Although these images were filmed long before I was even born, I still feel fear when seeing them. This video shows the emotions through from just one eye.
I'd like to know how this video makes YOU feel. Please leave a comment on this post.

for Randomness sake! (The green glasses)

Sometimes... I do things just because I can.
It's for Randomness' sake!
So tonight, when I was sat here bored, I decided to do something I would regret, and that is...
Dip my sun glasses into some green wall paint.
It was fun.
And in the end, I had a very artistic looking pair of glasses!

They are now on display on my bedroom wall.
This is only the start of my "green series". Tomorrow I will paint my brain.

NO HATE.

NO HATE
Acrylic on canvas.

In this painting, the black represents negative emotions, like hate, sadness, anger etc. And the colour represents positive (the opposite).
This painting is to persuade "No Hate"... And the word HATE breaks as it falls into the positive side. The word No is also seen to be a negative word, and stays intact in the black (negative) side.
The painting is to remind you to stay happy, and don't let negative emotions like hate and anger take over you. You should break these emotions like the colour does in the painting.

This painting also has quite a personal meaning to me, as I used to hate a lot of things and people. I hope you like it, and I hope it makes you realise that hating is stupid and should be broken.

I will upload proper photos of the painting tomorrow!
So please come back to see them.
Thanks, Luke.

Photos From Today.

Here are a few random photos from today that I thought I'd share with you.
I'm currently at the begining of a new project titled: Conflict Within A Conflict.
Details of THAT will be on my blog soon, so keep an eye out!
So for now i will just update on randomness that I hope you enjoy!

This photo here was taken from a back-ally in Oxford city centre.
I'm hoping to get someone to model for me, as I think this background would be prefect for a fashion shoot!

This next photo is taken from in Oxford's covered market. There are many things there you wont find in highstreet shops. My friend took an interest in these plant blubs!

As you may know, Oxford is famous for it's history of bikes!
You see them all over the place:

That's all for today, but dont forget to bookmark this blog and keep an eye on it for my upcoming project "Conflict Within A Conflict".
