Art & My Life.

For as long as I can remmeber, I have always Loved art!
I've always been doing creative things...
And I know that it's what I want to do with my life.

Here is a sculpture I made when I was about 13/14.
I have improved a lot since then, but I thought I'd just show you.

I think there is loads of talent out there that just isn't used or noticed!
And if you think you are good at any arts, then I suggest just going for it, and showing everyone what you've got... Because being good at art is a gift. And so many people would dream to be as good as you.

A usual day for an Oxford Boy.

Here are some random photos I have taken whilst just being out and about in Oxford.
Some of you might think they're nothing special, but to someone from the other side of the world they may seem unusual.

Paint blobs

I had this really weird idea today... to make a town out of paint blobs, and then destroy it using a piece of string.
This is how it went:

blob blob blob

paint it

when the colour meets.

Destroyed.

Paintings.

Hello everyone!
Here is a photo of my completed painting (I may do some slight adjustments as I always notice things wrong with my paintings)
It has no theme or meaning, it's simply a design, to make any room look more interesting... and a little bit "funky"!
It's an acrylic painting on a 50cm x 50cm canvas, if anyone is interested in buying this piece, please contact me on lukeisblue@gmail.com for more pricing and more details and I will get back to you.

Also for sale is this acrylic on 30cm x 40cm (approx) canvas.
The painting is from the outline of two paint pallets. Some say they see a face (in yellow). What you see is up to you.

...

I need YOUR help!
I need some ideas for a theme to do a project on...
and I want you to decide, what do you feel strongly about? or what do you think would make a good art piece?
Leave a comment in this blog with all your ideas!

Please subscribe to my blog! I appreciate every bit of input and support from everyone! Thank you, Luke.

Summer's at an end.

Summer is at and end everyone! :(
So I decided to go out and take some last shots of summery things.
Here are just a few. I also had a retro style theme, thats why some have rounded corners etc.
Please leave a comment, and subscribe to my blog and follow me! Thanks a lot, Luke.

Mixed Emotions.

Here is a self portrait to express my mixed emotions.
In the original photo, two emotions appear to be present at the same time,
you do not notice this when looking at the original face (in orange)
I have made it more clear by dividing the face to split the different facial expressions.
You can tell which side is happy, and which side is sad, but to make the image more interesting i have also represented these different emotions through colour.
Sadness - Blue
Happiness - Yellow

This piece is to show you my confusion and mixed emotions in every day life.

Introduction.

Hello and welcome to the Art Of Luke.
I have decided to make a blog of my art.

I will upload and blog my projects when completed,
so far I am unsure how often I will be blogging, so WATCH THIS SPACE!

I am new to blogging as well, but hopefully this will be good enough to keep you reading.

Thank you, Luke.
